Agency Profile

What kind of protection do you want? When you pay for professional protection, wouldn’t you like to have an officer on duty:profile_analysis

– Who has the capability to get out in front of virtually any type of threat or
emergency that might occur?

– Whose seriously capable appearance alone presents a very powerful
deterrent to crime?

– Who nonetheless exhibits the kind of grooming, demeanor and conduct
that is appropriate for the pastoral environment you’ve worked so hard to
maintain?

Why shouldn’t you feel entitled to have an officer in whom you and your peers can have complete confidence, but also still be comfortable with?

We think a thoughtful client should desire all of those ideals, and delivery of such levels of service is precisely the concept behind Tactical Alert Force.

Tactical Alert Force does not employ anyone with minimal qualifications or experience, and we demand that our officers have, or soon acquire, far more than the typical qualifications.  We take security professionals and further develop them into officers who are skilled and capable in first response to all types of emergencies; protective, fire, rescue, medical and even hazardous material incidents, including all of the much-feared chemical, biological and nuclear terrorism weapons.  Moreover, we expect, and hold them accountable for, performance of their routine duties with courtesy and class. If you want more than a body in a shirt with a patch on it, and even much more than typical armed guards, read on.

Many private security agencies offer mostly (or only) unarmed and essentially unskilled uniformed guards, primarily as eyewash for the public (to instill some “sense” of security) or merely to satisfy an insurance requirement. They don’t expect much of those people, and their clients usually don’t get much. In fact, such security people often actually introduce new risks to the environment in which they are stationed.  It comes as no surprise that such cheesy security provisions garner little respect from the threat elements at large and little appreciation from either residents or the public.  It’s awfully hard to understand why clients pay for that, when for about the same cost, they could have real protection.  At Tactical Alert Force we say, “don’t pay more, get more” SM.

Tactical Alert Force provides highly skilled, armed and fully-equipped officers in uniform or plainclothes, carrying exposed and/or concealed weapons.  We are also a State-licensed investigation agency, and can provide detectives in any of the same duty configurations.

Our officers are licensed to protect people and/or property, and business operations.  Our detectives are licensed to provide personal protection (including executive protection or bodyguard services) and investigative services, (including tactical surveillance to detect, identify and intercept any threats to you, your staff or business operations). Our detectives have the capability to serve as an intermediate or alternative measure to turning potential criminal cases over to law enforcement. This better positions your association to negotiate a private resolution or recovery of any loss, rather than surrender control of the matter to public authorities having primarily a prosecutory interest.

Many private security agencies prefer or require their personnel to have only standard first aid and/or CPR certification. Tactical Alert Force requires both, as well as advancement to, and maintenance of, the EMS First Responder level within a specified period.  We also strongly encourage officer advancement to the next level, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Tactical Alert Force has a number of EMT’s on staff, including some at the EMT-Tactical (SWAT Medic) level, who are capable of performing Tactical Rescue/EMS.

Tactical Alert Force also requires its officers to become trained in light urban search and rescue (USAR), light firefighting and hazardous materials response, including State certification as HazMat First Responders, Operations Level.  Like the other critical skills Tactical Alert Force demands, these skills can easily mean the difference between life or death and mitigation of property loss during the most crucial time… before public emergency services arrive. Don’t expect any of these capabilities from most private security agencies.

Speaking of public emergency services, Tactical Alert Force avoids hiring their off-duty personnel.  While this may seem curious at first, it’s for the very best of reasons.  Public emergency service personnel have an overriding commitment to respond to their agencies when duty calls.  Thus, during some of the most critical times that you need their services (such as a riot, hazardous materials incident, high terrorist threat level, earthquake or other natural disaster), they must leave your site to serve the greater needs of the general public. At such times, Tactical Alert Force mobilizes to serve you, not everyone else.

In fact, Tactical Alert Force maintains substantial emergency response and disaster survival resources, specially-equipped vehicles and a number of relevant special licenses and certifications, all of which are placed at the disposal of our clients in times of need.

For clients interested in improving their own readiness for emergencies and disasters, Tactical Alert Force also offers a full range of preparedness, response, and recovery services. These services include:

– Specialized planning, training and/or outfitting for awareness, safety,
emergency response, emergency communications, emergency
provisioning, disaster survival and sheltering

– Design and fabrication of specialized equipment

– Information technology disaster recovery planning and testing

– Business continuity planning

Tactical Alert Force is headed by a recognized and award-winning leader for planning and development of high-yield emergency/disaster preparedness and response capability in innovative and highly cost-effective programs for layperson organizations, notably in office, technological and school sites with extremely limited funding.  With our skills and services supporting the survival of your staff and business, you will be positioned to ride out many crises when others do not. Survival is the ultimate competitive advantage for your business… and so much more for you and your staff.

The final aspect of the Tactical Alert Force profile is quality control.  We believe in maintaining consistently high performance through adherence to demanding standards and procedures, effective supervision, strict discipline, and positive professional motivation of our officers.  We combine all of these factors into a process of continuing improvement.  We don’t compromise on our values and objectives.

Now you know why we take such pride in our profile… it’s way ahead of the pack.

When the chips are down, don’t get caught short by having security guards who are prepared only to become additional victims.
